学会放手,收获精彩 ---五年级Zoo Animals英语课堂感悟

个人简介:

  吴海玲老师,女,现在担任二、三、四年级的英语教学工作。在多年的从低段一年级到高段六年级的英语教学中总结了一些自己的教学经验和方法。在教学中认为只要善于发现,善于挖掘,善于引导,学生的学习能力是无限的。

  一、从微观的课堂来促进学生宏观的学习---我的教学理念

  英语作为一门语言性的学科,是要能够达到听、说、读、写的要求,另外,学习英语的目的还是为了能够与人对话交流。在我们国家,大部分地区的英语语言环境是相当欠缺的,甚至几乎没有的。如何能在平时的教学中去达到这些目标,课堂以生为本的教学改革非常值得我们去研究探讨。生本的英语课堂就是学生形成自主学习的活动没有?在教学中,我始终认为:

  (一)学生应该成为学习的主动者。不仅是在课堂,从一节课的教学我们还要看出学生是否进行了大量的课外学习,是否处于一种自我的积极的学习状态中!如果达到了这个目的,那不仅仅是学习了本课书-本册书中有限的知识,更是拓展了无限的知识学习。这种知识的学习能力才是一个人一生要得到的财富。而我们的生本课堂正是在培养着学生的这种能力,是真正的“授人以鱼,不如授人以渔”的体现。

  (二)把学生的自主学习成果变成另外一种教学资源。这种资源范围是相当广泛的。可以来自于学生的个人学习,课外书籍,家长资源,网络资源……

  二、我的课堂实录

  下面是五年级上册的动物单元主题课堂实录:

  课前三分钟热身:在一首活泼的英语歌曲《Mary has a little lamb》中拉开了这节英语课的序幕。揭示了本节课的教学主题:是与动物有关的

  Teacher: Today let’s talk about the animals . Do you know them?

  Part 1: Share some words about animals or common saying.

  学生1的分享:

  • Koala is a small animal from Australia. It has grey fur.  It lives in the gum  trees and it eats gum tree’s leaves. Koala likes sleeping and eating .It often sleeps in the day and awakes at night. It sleeps for eighteen hours a day .It does not like drinking water. But it can swim very well.   The koala is a kind of cute animal.

It is the king of the forest. Today, there are fewer left in our country, we must do our best to protect it. Now, do you know what animal is it? (台下一学生回答)Yes ,it is a tiger.

  学生10的分享:

  Panda is one of the scarce animals. People in the world like it very much. There used to be many panda in China long ago. As the balance of nature was destroyed and the weather was getting warmer, the panda is fewer and fewer. Let’s protect it.

  Part 3: Act out the play

  Teacher:  The animals are so lovely. I know you are going to act out a play about animals. Now practice your play in your group and prepare it for five minutes.  五分钟小组准备自编剧本的表演。(全班自由分成几个表演小组,有些小组准备了漂亮的道具在排练,老师巡查指导)

  Group1:  英语短剧:The Fox and the Tiger(狐假虎威)

  Tiger: I’m a great tiger. I’m very strong. I’m very brave. I’m the king of the forest. But now I’m very hungry. I must find sth. to eat at once. Oh, there’s nothing here. And here is nothing, either. Oh, I want to have a rest. (Sleep soundly)

  Fox: I’m a fox. You can see, I’m pretty and lovely. I’m good at cheating and telling lies. Just now I cheated a crew out of a piece of meat. Mm, Mm, Mm. How delicious it is!

  Tiger: Ah, a fox. A good meal. Ah, a good meal.

  Fox: Oh, my God! What should I do? Yes, I have a good idea. Yes, a good idea. Hello! Tiger sister! How are you?

  Tiger: Not so good. I’m very hungry now. I want to eat you.

  Fox: Oh, my dear! How dare you say that! I’m the king of the forest! I’m the king of the forest! If you want to eat me, I will let you die right now.

  Tiger: She is the king. She is cheating me. I can’t believe her. I’m the king of the forest here.

  Fox: If you don’t believe me, just follow me and see who is the king of the forest.

  Tiger: Ok. Let’s go.

  Rabbit Bird Frog Bear …are playing together , they are very happy.

  Bird: I’m a bird.

  Rabbit: Hi! I’m a rabbit.

  Bear: Hi, Fox. Oh, a tiger! (run away)

  Fox: Hello, Frog!

  Frog: Hi, Fox. Oh, a tiger! (run away)

  Fox: Hello, Bird!

  Bird: Hi, Fox. Oh, a tiger! (run away)

  Fox: Hello, Rabbit!

  Rabbit: Hi, Fox. Oh, a tiger! (run away)

  Fox: Tiger, Now, you see.  They all run away!

  Tiger: Yes, you are right. It’s true. I’m very sorry. You are the king of the forest. That’s all right. I will run away. He is the king. He is the king.

  Group2:   Little Red Riding Hood(小红帽)

  学生找的剧本较长,在此省略

  Group3:   英语童话剧(剧本)   Rabbit's birthday

  旁白:There are a lot of lovely animals in the forests. They're living a happy life. Little rabbit wants to invite some friends to his birthday party. Early in the morning, the rabbits are busy.

  第一幕:Rabbit:  Today is my birthday. I invite(邀请) a lot of friends to my birthday party. I'm waiting for them in my house. 

  第二幕:小兔朋友上场

  1 、Turnip:  I'm a turnip. I grow and grow. I'm getting bigger and bigger. I'm ripe(成熟的) now.

  2 、猴子跳上场

  Monkey1:  I'm monkey. I can jump.

  Monkey2:  I'm monkey. I can jump, too.

  Monkey1:  Little rabbit invited us to her birthday. Let's go.

  Monkey2:  OK!     边跳边唱儿歌:Three little monkeys jumping on a bed…

  3 、遇见萝卜

  Turnip:  Hello, monkeys! Look I'm ripe. Please pull me up.

  Monkey1:  Today is rabbit's birthday. We can take this turnip as a birthday present for her.

  Monkey2:  All righ . Let's try.

  Monkeys:  Hi-yo! Hi-yo!One, two,three! Hi-yo! Hi-yo! One, tow,three! We can't pull you out!

  4 、小猪上场

  Pig :  Oink-Oink! I want to go to rabbit's birthday! Oink-Oink! ~~

  Monkey1:  Pig! Pig! Help! Help!

  Pig :  What are you doing ?

  Monkey2:  We want to take this turnip as a birthday present for rabbit. But we can't pull it out. Please help us!

  Pig& Monkeys:  Hi-yo! Hi-yo!One, two,three! Hi-yo! Hi-yo! One, tow,three!  We can't pull you out!

  5 、 小鸟上场  跳舞 Two little black birds sitting on a hill…

  Bird1:  I'm bird.

  Bird2:  I'm bird too. I can sing in the tree.

  Birds:  We're birds.

  Monkey1:  Birds! Birds!  Help! Help!

  Monkey2:  We want to take this turnip as a birthday present for rabbit. But we can't pull it out. Please help us!

  Animals:   Hi-yo! Hi-yo!One, two,three! Hi-yo! Hi-yo! One,two,three! We can't pull you out!

  6 、狮子上场

  Lion : Roar-Roar! What are you doing?

  Monkey1:  We want to take this turnip as a birthday present for rabbit

  Lion: I want to go with you .

  Animals:  No, no no. Go away!

  Lion: I know I'm not good. But I can help you pull out the turnip.

  (动物们讨论一下)

  Animals:All right. But you must  treat everyone well from now on.

  Lion: OK!

  Animals:  Hi-yo! Hi-yo! One, two, three! Hi-yo! Hi-yo! One, tow, three!  Hurrah! We pull out the big turnip!

  Lion:  Let's carry the big turnip to the rabbits.

  Monkey1: Let's go!

  Monkey2: Let's sing.

  Animals: OK!

  第三幕:在小兔家,小兔一家正在准备东西

  Lion:  Open the door! Open the door!

  Rabbit:  Oh! Lion! I don't want to open the door!

  Mum:  Dear, please open the door.

  Rabbit:  No, no!

  Mum:  No, it's not good. We are all the friends.

  Rabbit: OK!

  ( 大家进门,把礼物送给小兔 )

  Animals:  Happy birthday to you!

  Rabbit:  Thank you !

  Rabbit:  Hello, friends! Come on ! Let's dance. Let's sing!

  Animals: 唱歌 Happy birthday to you ! (蛋糕上,摆pose)

  Group4:    Love animals

  A: Do you like animals?

  B: Yes, I do. My favorite animal is the lion.

  C: And my favorite animal is the panda.

  D: Let’s go to the zoo to see the animals, OK?

  ABC: Good idea! Let’s go.

  A: Look at these monkeys. They are jumping high and down. They are so naughty. But I like them. They are lovely, too.

  B: Woo! Look, the elephants are so big, so strong. It can eat many foods.

  C: The animals are the friends of our human. But more and more animals are killed by the human.. Let’s look at these pictures:

  (在人类残杀动物的图片中,缓缓想起了Michael Jackson 的音乐Heal The World,大部分的学生被触动了,本节课的主题得到了升华:让我们一起来保护动物,爱护环境!)

  ABC: We must protect the animals! Let’s heal the world! Thank you!

  (下课铃声响了)

  三、我的教学反思

  这节课的教学内容,按本校生本课堂的做法,学生在课前进行了先学作业的完成,包括收集动物的单词和有关动物的谚语,然后对自己喜欢的动物进行描述,最后根据单元主题小组改编课文或收集、创编剧本进行表演。本节课就是通过集中展示交流学生们的自学成果,实现教学目标。

  英语交流是一种体验式的学习,只有给学生设立一个充分对话交流、表演的舞台,才能促进学生的语言发展。纵观整节课堂,基本都是学生的先学交流展示,学生完完全全成为了课堂的主人。这节课有超过了三分之二的学生都有机会上台展示自己。如果时间允许,是可以达到百分百的。学生带来了很多课外的单词,句子,动物的经典故事。学生就是学习的资源,而且这种资源是非常广泛的。另外,这节课学生在表演中把环保主题进行渗透升华,起到了一种非常好的效果。老师在课堂中只是组织者,欣赏者,老师给学生搭建起课堂舞台,用一根线,把学生珍珠般的作品串了起来,让学生上演着无限的精彩。这正是生本课堂的精髓所在,一切相信学生,高度尊重学生。

  但是,课堂中也有不尽完美的地方,比如拓展的词汇是否能全班一块学习,在小组表演活动中,有的孩子还比较羞涩,对自己的角色和台词还不太熟练,这都需要在平时的教学中慢慢地培养锻炼。
